About Us

CountyLine Vineyard & Venue was established in 2016 as a family venture.  While living on the property since the mid-1980s, our family has enjoyed hosting many gatherings with our family and friends.

The property, located in central Virginia just one hour from both Richmond and Lynchburg, offers a peaceful freedom away from the hustle and bustle of the city.  The countryside setting naturally attracts anyone looking for an "off the beaten path" wedding venue. 

Just a short drive down the lane, the barn comes into view.  Beautifully framed by a vineyard, hardwood forest, and wildflower field,  the property lends itself well as a backdrop for memorable events and photographs.

While on the property, it's common to see whitetail deer nibbling on wildflowers and clover in the spring and summer months, and wine grapes in the vineyard in the fall.  And, if you’re lucky, you’ll see a Marsh Hawk in flight above the vineyard where they’ve come to nest in recent years.
